Most of the time if I'm reading a book, it is directly related to some technology: Java, CSS, CVS, etc.  This time, while under the influence of a Vanilla Creme Latte, I picked up "Practices of an Agile Developer" by Venkat Subramaniam and Andy Hunt.  Maybe I was looking for a ways to be a better developer at Acquia.  Maybe I desperately want t

Well, the last few weeks have been kinda crazy.  There's been alot that I've had to learn since I started working at Acquia.  I have gotten some work done though.  Among other things, I've got to play a little bit with D7UX, a project that is attempting to improve the user experience for Drupal by lowering the learning curve.  This is a good thing.  (And long overdue.)

Today has been a rather slow day for me and Drupal.  No patches.  No commits.  Not even a single line of code was changed.  So what did I do?  Well, since you ask...

I GOT HIRED BY ACQUIA!

Okay, I lied.  Not a slow Drupal day at all.  More like awesome.  Very awesome.  In fact, the final call was with none other than Dries himself.  (The guy who created Drupal.)  It was actually quite fun.  (Yes!  A fun interview!)
