Today I released the 6.x-1.10 version of the Plugin Manager. This released fixed several bugs and added a few new features. I also did a little planning today. I've decided to start being a little bit more delibrate about when releases should occur. Thus, I've formed a little list of sorts. Though it is subject to change, the following changes are all slated for the 6.x-1.11 release.
- #507454: Use update.module to calculate appropriate release
- #370197: Ability to set default package choice to dev or official release.
- #515042: Updates marked as security update do not appear in the update list
- #354929: Show link to reload the repository
- #389116: List the requirements for this module
The most current form of the list can be viewed here. Other features can be added if someone else feels the need to contribute.
As an aside, you might have noticed that this is my first Plugin Manager update in quite a while. I honestly thought that the full functionality of the Plugin Manager was going to be included in the core of Drupal 7. Though many of the features do appear natively, there are several features that do not. Thus it seems that my previous belief, that future versions of the plugin manager would simply serve as backports of the native within D7, was mistaken.
